If you do not agree with any terms of this Privacy Statement or if you are under 18 years of age, please do not use this site or submit any personal information to Nu-Insure.

This consent is optional and not required to purchase insurance.

When you visit our site, Nu-Insure and our third-party service providers may collect information that is automatically sent to us by your web browser or your internet service provider. However, setting your browser to reject cookies generally hinders the browser’s performance and will adversely affect your experience while using our site. Our policies do not apply to the privacy practices of third party sites. Please read the privacy policy of other websites you use carefully as we are not able to affect third party sites.

Our policies and practices regarding personal information

The security of your personal information is important to us. We protect your personal information by maintaining physical, organizational and technological safeguards intended to help protect against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use and modification.

Nu-Insure has established appropriate privacy safeguards designed to protect the personal information in our possession, scaled to our organization's size and the sensitivity of the information we handle. 

Accessing and correcting your personal information

You have a right to request access to your personal information, to request a correction to it if you believe it is inaccurate, and to request deletion of your personal data ('right to be forgotten'). If you have submitted personal information to Nu-Insure and would like to have access to it, have it corrected, or request its deletion, please contact us using the contact information provided below. We may require you to confirm your identity before processing your request. We will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request; however, in some cases we may not be able to allow you to access certain personal information or fully delete all your data in certain circumstances, for example if it contains personal information of other persons, if we are required to retain certain information by law, or for other legal reasons. We will inform you of any limitations to your rights in such cases.

Withdrawing your consent

By applying for insurance, continuing your commercial relationship with Nu-Insure, or providing Nu-Insure with personal information, you provide your consent for the ongoing collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Statement. In most cases, you may withdraw your consent with reasonable notice to Nu-Insure; however, by doing so, Nu-Insure may no longer be able to meet your insurance needs. Your withdrawal of consent is also subject to your legal and contractual obligations.

Inquiries and complaints

The Privacy Officer or designate receives all inquiries and complaints concerning privacy, coordinates responses, ensures that responses meet privacy-related requirements, and ensures that responses are timely. All privacy complaints received are investigated. If the Privacy Officer finds that a complaint is justified, Nu-Insure will try to resolve it. If necessary, practices may be modified to ensure that other persons do not experience the same concerns. If a complaint cannot be resolved immediately, Nu-Insure will advise that the complaint is being reviewed and when to expect an answer.
